I want to the post office the other day. Upon exiting my vehicle, I was contacted by an overweight woman who asked if I had some spare change so she could get a meal. I said I didn't, and she immediately responded with "that sure is a nice car you have...is it new?" I'm confident in saying the statement was made in an accusatory tone. The inflection in her voice was unmistakeable.
I have a very strong opinion about what I think is happening to this country...I'll just say that I'm glad to be getting old.

Well, last week I stopped in at JITB for a breakfast sandwich and while eating, some guys came in with blowers to clean the lot. They were getting close to the area where my 'Vette was parked so I quickly took my last bite and went out to move my car. They were being careful to keep stuff off of it but just before I got to it, one of them quickly blew any dust off my car and gave me a thumbs up. I couldn't see any dust on it but he was thoughtful of it.
I mouthed "Thanks" and drove away.

You know it was class envy that made the jerks blow crap toward your car don't we? It rears its ugly head every chance it gets. We don't know how to respect each other in this country any more; probably because so many of us aren't FROM this country anymore.
