I do like the design. From what I've been seeing from the spy photos the C7 looks like it will be the next Corvette I'll own. I'll wait a few years for them to work the kinks out and then do the factory delivery and the build-your-own engine option. Just once I'd like to go all out and do the entire new Corvette experience. The engine building option is sweet; I hope they still offer it when I'm ready to buy one. As an avid shadetree mechanic with a love for working on cars that option is irresistable.

We have a similar plan. GM usually ups the HP after the 3rd year as well!
I really hope the C7 generates the "I gotta have it" reaction similar to the one I had with the C5. I did not have that reaction when I first saw the C6, however the Z06 and the wide-body Grand Sports improved the design over time.
