Annual Fall Color Pix
October 16, 2012 – We still haven't found better color than right here in our own neighborhood. So after a run to warm up the oil, a stop for spectacular color. I call this one 'Hallelujah!!".
In the two below, it was interesting that the Droid camera decided to do an 'auto-adjust' to get the incredible color of the leaves just right which washed out the Corvette. I was bummed at first but then decided the greater good was served. The leaves will never look exactly like this again, but the Corvette is the same great looking car every year.

Fall is a great time to get some pics with the car. And you snapped some very nice ones.
Going to try and get mine out tomorrow to get a few pics - tough to find a really nice location around here though.

Great photos, great colors. Headed up that way in the morning, for a week, or two, or three...
Hopefully some fall color will still be out. No, not going in the Vette, going in my 4Runner. We'll be gone a while, and will probably need room to accumulate stuff, you know, with a wife and all....

Nice to see pictures of the leaves changing, here in Florida that doesn't happen. But we are warm all winter, top down weather.

I moved from the Chicago area to the west coast of Florida in 2005. I miss the autumn leaves on cool sunny days so I love pics of Vettes with the fall backdrop of colors! 
In Florida we have green (summer) and brownish-green (winter).
However, yesterday I laid down 100+ bags of red landscape mulch and planted some new bushes so that's my contribution to fall colors!
Many members are getting ready to tuck their babies away for their winter nap, however driving season has just started here as summer is way too hot to drive with the top down all the time.
