After leaving the restaurant tonight (at haft-time), I was very pleased to notice that the front and rear wheels on diver’s side where almost perfectly lined up. The top star points of the stock wheels were matching and straight upwards. I had cleaned the car about 4 hours early, so this caught my eye. I could not contain my joy of this sight, and pointed this out to my companions.
After discussing and fidgeting over the various exact degrees of total alignment or misalignment, I decided to check the passenger side. They, strangely enough, were 180 degrees (plus or minus), off from each other. I thought to myself “how can I fix this”. After careful calculation, I contemplated removing one wheel, and rotating one bolt, I could have them all aligned perfectly. Imagine my disappointment when I got home, checked, and none of the wheels were anywhere close to the alignment they where at the restaurant. Go figure?

You realize that this will happen again exactly on Dec 21, 2012 and,,,,,uh oh, isn't that the date of the Myan prediction for the end of the world???? Oh well, glad you got to see it now.
And of course Rolls Royce please their customers by having self-righting wheel centers so that the RR monogram is always right side up on all four wheels.
Of course the vehicle is a few thousand more dollars than a regular Corvette.
Just curious, but was alcohol involved during this meal?
OK I've been exposed. It was a resturant/bar. And perhaps there was a wee bit of drink envolved. I figure in exactly 178.34 miles they will all realign again. This is no doubt due to the 17" wheels in front and 18" wheels in the back. I sure am glad I did not pull that one wheel and rotate it by one bolt. That would have moved the syncronisty out by at least 324.78 miles, or at least past the end of the world date. Sometimes you just got to lighten up a little.

Good thing you didn't try to move it the one bolt hole since it will not change the orintation of the spokes at all..........
