Standing Mile Events
I posted this on ls1tech, and didn't get much response. Figured I'd try it here...
I know about the Texas Mile and Ohio Mile. I was wondering if there are any other ones that run regularly.
The Maxton Monster Mile was only a few hours from me (in NC), but I know that closed last year when ECTA moved to Ohio.
Apparently there was one in Florida at the Kennedy Space Center, but I can't tell if that was a regular event or not.
Any help is appreciated, as I am looking to attend one without the 20+ hour round trip drive.

Out west we have the Mojave Mile www.mojavemile.com and they run a 1/2 mile and mile in conjunction with the Silver State races www.silverstateclassic.com
