Hi all, well after 4 years of nursing the AC Delco battery in my 2003 Vette I have come to the conclusion that its time for a new battery. From reading this forum for best replacement it seems that I should stay with the recommended 7yr Delco battery. I would like to find a dealer near me and get the best price I can of course. What is an appropiate price for this battery? I have found a dealer near me in Erie PA.
I paid around $125 (with tax) for my 7-year professional AC Delco battery in 2010. I live in Florida and purchased it from an automotive supply shop and installed it myself.

Check with various auto parts stores and see who can give you the best price. When I had to replace my battery, I went with a Sears DieHard Platinum - a bit more expensive, but a very good warranty.
I have been putting Autozone Duralast Gold Batteries in all my vehicles for as long as I can remember. The best part is that just before the 3 year warranty expires I return them and they replace it no questions asked. I usually just have to pay the difference in price from 3 years ago, which last time was about $38....
If they are willing to take these back untested, then I will take advantage of their warranty.
