Default intermittent turn signal problem

I took the vette for a cruise tonight and after driving for awhile the turn signals quite working. I stopped for gas and they started working again then a few minutes later they quite again, then the next turn I made they were working again. Any ideas what it might be. I'm thinking it might be a ground problem, if so any ideas where the ground is for the turn signals?

Common issue with the C5, Next time it doesn't work push the 4 way switch in and out about 5 times and see if they start working, Turn lights are tied into the 4way, An easy fix is to buy one of these and install it.

I just started having the same problem. At first all I had to do was push the Emergency Flasher button once and my turn signals would work fine. But now, I have to push the Emergency Flasher button more than once to get them to work. I don't have LED's, will this harness still fix the problem or should I replace the Emergency Flasher button?

For me it wasn't bad - you have to remove the radio/console bezel (which I had to do to replace my HVAC controls anyway). Once you have the bezel off the trickiest part is getting the old switch out. It's a tight fit but it is doable. I'll admit it took me a lot longer than 18min. LOL Took me that long to find the tools, and get the bezel off!

I added a Hyper Flash to correct my turn signals and it worked well for a while, then it went back to it's old inconsistant ways. Do these things go bad or get old ?
