Default Callaway C12 value?

A friend of mine's father owns one of 20 Callaway C12s. It's a stunning car, even if it is "non-traditional" for a C5 Callaway package.

Out of pure curiousity, does anyone know what the C12 might be worth now? I think it sold for $180K new, but has it appreciated or lost value since?

Oh, and of course, this thread would be useless without a picture:

Auctions have seen bids between $75-200k. Most of the recent actual sales have averaged around the $100k mark.

You might do some research on sites like Barrett-Jackson, Mecum, etc. and see if one has crossed the block - that would at least give you some idea what it could be worth if put up at auction.

There was a C12 for sale in TX. Their asking price was $95K. Not sure if it ever sold and that was about a year ago.
Is your friends father a member of COG: Callaway Owners Group?

I'll ask next time I see him. I think this is actually his first Corvette, so I'm not sure.

He sure got a good, and rare, one for a first Vette. I frequent the COG forum. My Vette is equipped with their Power Groups 1&2.
Is he a member of Corvette Forum?

No (not yet, anyway). He's owned countless Porsches/RUFs, a Viper and classic Lamborghinis, too. He's a Ferrari Chat member, but his prized possession right now is the C12.

I was purely curious as to what they're worth nowadays. There isn't much out about them since they are so exclusive.

Go to the Callaway Owners Group forum. If any one knows about the C12, it would be them. Or just call Callaway Cars. They'll be glad to give you the info you need. There's even a Youtube video about the development of the C12.
BTW, let me know if he ever wants to sell it.
