Default Amsoil 75w140

So has anyone run the Amsoil 75w140'in their diff?

I know 75w90 is recommended, but from the S2000 world where diffs explode a lot, the 75w140 is the preferred diff fluid (the S2000 is also spec'd for 75w90). It seems to have all the best stuff in it and it,helps the diff do its thing.

So has anyone given it a try? I'm just thinking it could be an option since it works really well in a car with about half the power.

I've been using the AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w90 (Product Code SVGQT) in my 02 Z06 at the track since 2004 - no failures.

Going to a 75w140 will only result in a net loss of HP and mpg. I recommend sticking with the 75w90.

More than happy to get AMSOIL products for forum members at dealer wholesale pricing, about 25% below retail, via the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program. Drop me a PM if interested.
