Awesome... I might be down sometime to visit with Bret so if my vette is road worthy enough I will give you a holler.. Everything you want to know is in that long **** quote I posted about the first skull was a small silver plastic skull on the No. 4 cars gearshift mechanism in '02. Soon after a white flaming skull on the rollcage above the drivers head...
This small molded skull-originally applied back in 2002-still rides on the back of the No. 4 C6.R
This is all before Gary's badboycorvettes got the task of designing an official Jake in black and yellow.
That No Fear skull was just that.. A skull sticker they randomly found and placed on the C5R.. Later that year, Male found a silver flaming-skull decal while wandering downtown Le Mans during the prerace tech-inspection process. Not surprisingly, it immediately found its way onto the car's B-pillar. This appearance marked the first time the skull was incorporated into the car's external presentation.

You too Brent !
I met Ron fellows at a ALMS race in Leguna Seca race in 2000. He signed one of his C5R's rear tires and gave it to me. Still has Leguna Seca dirt in it and says "3 Race" on the side in chalk. It was off the #3 C5R. My wife made it into a card table for me. He also signed a model C5R for me. He was a cool guy to meet in person !
