99 C5 wheel question?
I recently purchased a 99 C5 Vert with very low miles - all original equipment.
It has the original GM factory wheels but they are chrome.
I am unclear if they were offered originally with a chrome option or not.
I have seen people say yes and others say no.
Can anyone clarify ?

They were not offered in chrome by the factory - those were done by some aftermarket company using original GM wheels if it has the GM stamp on the back of the spokes. I had a '99 coupe and did a wheel exchange with Ecklers for a set of the chrome wagon wheels. Made a huge difference in the looks of the car.

Get yourself some polished thinspokes from the 00-04 vettes..I put them on my 99..they go right on so you can reuse the tires you have on now and it will be a 100% improvement in looks..
