Ltb 2002 coup
I'm a newbie, just started looking found a 2002 white coup with 6 speed, 35k miles asking $16,9k. It appears to be in really good shape drives very good any thoughts on what to look out for? Is it priced right?

That seems like a good price an '02 with that milage. Of course, offer less see where it goes.
Check for maintenance records. Good record keeping usually indicates a consciencious owner(s).
Has it had an mods done. Intake, headers, exhaust, heads/cam....etc.?
C5's are notorious for Column Lock issues. Has a column lock bypass been installed? If not, make that your first mod!
Check the rear differential for any fluid leaking/collected at the bottom.
You could always have an independent mechanic do an inspection. Preferably one with experience with Corvettes. I did, and he found a leaking shock that the seller replaced. Cost $40 in 2004.

Sounds like you've found a nice car for a very reasonable price. I bought our Torch Red 2002 from a local dealer 2 1/2 years ago with 35K miles, brand new Michelin tires, all original, and not a scratch on it for 22K. It's my first Vette and has been an absolute joy to drive. You won't regret buying a C5 they are a blast to drive for the money. Get it checked out first, but it sounds like a great deal. Enjoy, and don't forget to wave!
