The installation followed the instructions note for note! Several times! Two different units! Questioning your customers (and ex customers) ability to make two simple connections and set a dip switch is a great way to generate references! I managed to repair my EBCM, install radioflyer HID's among other things without any issues! I repair vintage tube guitar amplifiers and amm EE by trade! The thing does not work in my car! Your refusal to accept that and to constantly blame the installation is quite annoying, on top of the fact I'm still out $85!!

 

Just out of curiosity, how do you have the dip switches set?

 

I have told you to send this back for refund and you never did. When you had a problem I sent out a second one and yet you still can not get the second one to work. I said to send them back and you never did.So having it setting there on your desk is not my fault as you had a long time now to send back for refund. Now you come on here and every time someone ask about this solution to an ipod you rip the product when you seem to be the only one who it would not work with. So it only leads me to believe your doing something wrong. I am sorry if this bothers you but we have done everything to try and help you. It was as I say is your call not to send the unit back to me for a refund. We send these out daily to customers and they work just fine and everyone loves them.

What Ipod/iphone were you using?- if iphone 5 you MUST use the 30 pin adapter
Did you connect set the dip switches to 3 and 8 to on position? this HAS to be done
did it show it was charging? If the unit is charging than it was connected and dip switches were either not set or
I dont recall but if you have used the pxhgm4 option and have a cd changer did you disconnect the changer from back of radio as well?
did you press play on ipod?
are you using an iPhone 5? if so you need the 30 pin adapter as this is an Apple issue not iSimple

These are just a few things that are the first for me to ask everyone who have problems on install


I get calls all the time when something is not working correctly and the first thing to assume is it is the product when it simply is something wrong on install. Once we figure it out the product always works fine. Normally its a wiring issue on a radio. But we take the time to walk throught he install and see what is wrong. Might take a few minutes to do as its hard to trouble shoot something when your 1000 miles away and going off info given to you on the phone.

I installed mine a few weeks ago and have not listened to the radio since. Super easy installation as well.

 

Ordered mine this morning from Dennis. I am by no means a "Caveman", but it sounds like even I can hook it up.

 

The product works great in my car! Dennis has great customer service and great products in every transaction i have had with him!

 

This looks like an awesome kit!!!!

Will this charge my phone?

I am trying to decide whether to use my phone (android) or leave an ipod in the car.

only the PXDP will charge iphones and ipod
