Default titanium muffler question

So maybe im just hearing things, but I swear the harder I drive my z06 with titanium mufflers and the hotter they get, the louder they are. Anyone else think the same, or am I just crazy?

It may have more to do with the cats than the mufflers? As they get red hot they may relight any nonburnt gas and add to the pop of each exhaust valve opening, but I have no idea.

My 18k miles 01 mine does it its and great as far as the sound goes but I went down a very steep hill yesterday leaving the Z in 1st and the popping was severe so the cats may be burning out and not the titanium mufflers. .

It has been my experience that the titanium exhaust sounds "better" once it has been warmed up - 15 minutes of hard driving or about a half hour on the highway. Doesn't, IMO, get loud - just better
