Well it's 10 years to the day when I signed on the line to buy my first Corvette.
In that time I've driven the Las Vegas Strip and The Pacific Coast Highway. She spent 8 weeks on a boat from Vegas to LA to Chatham, London to Lincolnshire. She's survived many mod programs and even my latest attempt to burn down the garage. She still looks like a youngster when I give her a wash and brush up.
My first post on The Corvette Forum would have embarrassed the dumbest newbie but by reading hundreds if not thousands of posts here I finally made "Technical Contributor". I was a founder member of Sin City Vettes and now enjoy The Classic Corvette Club UK get-togethers.
It's been a long ride and hopefully many more miles to go.

Congrats!! I'm sure that your Vette still draws a crowd in England. There must not be many C5's in the UK and therefore it is probably considered pretty exotic.
Congratulations, DeeGee! You are highly respected and cherished long-time contributor and enthusiast here on the forum, and, without a doubt one of the classiest members. Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season and many more exciting years of Corvette enjoyment!
