Sometime back I read where one of our vendors would sell just one seat cover and the foam to go with it. My drivers seat is worn out and in need of replacement. Passenger seat is in great shape so there is really no reason to replace it. Anybody out there remember anything about this?
The OEM covers are. The driver side has felt lining on the right side next to the center console and the passenger side has felt lining on the left side next to the center console.
Mid America sells OEM-like replacement covers, however I'm not sure if they sell only one seat/cover. Another idea may be to order a set to make sure they match and then sell your extra OEM passenger cover on the forum. Someone may need just the passenger side.
With the NCRS gathering coming up here in Florida and knowing Al always has a set up there, I called them. They will do the job for $738 installed, while I wait. That seems to be a fairly good option. New leather, new foam and installed while I wait? Now to talk my wife into it. She says my fat *** will just do it all over again, so why bother?
I've never known any company to split up a set of two.
That quote sounds reasonable depending on the seat covers used. I paid almost $600 for quality seat covers and installed them myself. Easy stuff.
Who did you buy them from? PM if you can't post please; I'm in dire need of a replacement for my driver's seat and the price you paid is lower than anything else I've found.
