Can someone please tell me what is the stock size injectors for a 2000 vert and a 2001 vert. I heard that they went bigger in 2001, is that true? Would there be any gain to changing them out? Thanks.
No they are working. I thought maybe if I put bigger injectors, more hp?
Unless you've upgraded your intake, cam, heads and headers, you won't need the extra fuel flow. Bigger injectors don't add horsepower, they just spray enough gas to keep up with everything else.
I only upgraded my injectors to 35 lb./hr. units after logging the duty cycle using EFI Live when I was tuning the PCM after my heads/cam mod several years ago and found they were frequently hitting the ceiling at 100% duty cycle. You don't want injectors exceeding the 80% duty cycle - that means thye are nearing their fuel delivery capacity and there's a danger of the engine running lean, which is undesireable to engine longevity. However, upsizing injectors is not recommended if you have not increased the fuel delivery pressure or the air intake volume of the motor. Here's a useful website that allows you to calculate fuel flow rate and determine the correct injector for your setup.

Absent an exhaust, intake and a tune- there's nothing for you to gain by just changing injectors.
If you're itching to do something, IMO, go for an air intake and exhaust- best grand you'll spend.
Thanks everyone for the info, I now have a better understanding of the injectors. I have upgraded the intake, added headers and high flow exhaust but changed nothing internal on the engine, so no need to mess with the injectors yet, but soon. Thanks again for all the wisdom!

Have you got a tune on your car since the mods? When you go in for one you can have the injector duty cycle checked to see what you are at. Like mentioned, you typically don't want to be over 80%.. I am currently at 90% with my bolt on's (and not even LT headers), and am aware that I will need to do some injectors with my next mod(s). It would be a good idea to see where you are at. If I did LT headers I would need injectors without even getting into internals. So its not always only with internals that you need new injectors, but that is usually the case.
