Alright so my car is supposed to go to Mike Norris tomorrow morning for a cam install. As most of you already know he recently moved his shop to Plainfield Indiana, but anyone living in the state of Indiana or surrounding states knows that the areas around Plainfield Indiana are estimated to have upwards of 10 inches of snow and ice on the ground by tomorrow, starting tonight. With him being the busy man that he is, I don't want to fall through and not have the car there tomorrow for him.
My question is, I can either drive the car tonight and leave it uncovered, haul a race trailer to his shop and leave it, or somehow rig my car cover to with hold the 25+ mph winds they are saying we will get, while it's still sitting outside? Suggestions anyone? Don't think there is any way in hell I can drive the vette safely to his shop if there is a significant snow fall tonight, so I really need to figure it out now.

The car won't melt if it gets some snow on it, although if they have to clean it off they would need to be careful and not scratch the paint. Would they not keep the car in the shop if they plan to work on it right away? If they do not plan to get right on the job, perhaps you can deliver it closer to the time when they plan to start work.
Otherwise, no way I would try and drive the car if you expect up to 10" of snow. Good luck in whatever you do.
