Default White 99 FRC value?

looking at a just about immaculate 1999 FRC, white in color.56k miles on it and it's bone stock. 2 adult owners.

What is this car realistically worth? I figured maybe 16 to 17k? Maybe more?

It's worth what ever YOU wish to pay. If you like the car and it meets your needs go for it. Others will tell you it's to high but it's not easy to find a white FRC. See what they want and see if you can get close to 14,500.

some folks say they will never pay extra for white, others will. I paid about 1K too much for white but the rest of the car, 2 owner, GM maintenace, new tires, wheels, brakes, it all added up.

The seller holds the keys, it's you who gets to find out the right combination of dollars to get the seller to unlock the door and hand you the keys.

There are some folks that will tell you no matter what you pay for the car, there is always another one someplace else sometime that will be cheaper. Get what you want and forget consensus of opinion. Seeking the approval of the masses is a joke. Look at the elections.........it's almost 50/50 get all the info and MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND.

$15K doesn't sound like a bad deal if all checks out with the car.

I thought your original $16-17K estimate was right on. If you can get it for 15, and as has been said, if it checks out OK, then that's a good deal.

With under 60 thousand miles and in great shape it would bring $17000-$18000 around here [outerbanks] so i say it's a bargain at $15,000! These are spring and summer prices.

A car is worth what you can sell it in a day for, how long have they had it for sale, etc. In todays market and with everything being as it is things are simply just not worth what the books say they are. I buy and sell cars all the time (personally) not a dealer. On average a car will sell for about 3k less than books say. NADA and KBB always differ in price. Banks another book is used.

If you really want it and you've been looking for a while and this price is better than most you've seen then its worth it, if you say it is. I personally always liked white but own a pewter.

Good luck.

Given your description, $15k is a good price even if it was red!

hard to say. on the low side i've seen similar cars sell 11-12k, on the high i've seen 16-17k ask prices which is competing with early z06s

if you really want to milk every last dollar start the car at 16k here, on autotrader, craigslist and ebay, drop the price $100 each week until it sells
