I just received my complete redline package for my 2001 corvette. Stuff looks really good.
I am just curious if anyone has done anything else to the center console cover to keep it pulled tight. Putting it on without any extra fasteners and having the extra foam the elastic seems to like to show on one side or the other. Anyone have any tips?
Pics to follow.
When I ordered my RedlineGoods console cover, I also opted for the extra foam padding. When installing, I found that the extra padding kept the cover from fitting as well as it could. I just left the foam out and the cover now fits like a glove. Make sure you remove the cover lid from the backing plate before installing, as the backing plate will keep the leather cover in place.
I'm happy with RG's quality - I have their e-brake & shifter boots, console cover, e-brake handle and steering wheel (picture is pre-wheel).
