Ok, I would never let my pet ride in my Z06. With that being said, my girl friend loves her dog and wants to take her for rides to the park and other things. Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions on how to transport the pup?
Hmm, this one has several answers. First off, if the GF is staying, then how big is the doggie? A big dog and Vettes won't go together very well unless its super well behaved. Expect scratches and tears on either the door panel or the seat. If its a small dog, a dog carrier could be used. If a big dog that is trained correctly, it could lie down in the rear area (if a coupe). You can cover the seats with a blanket or pad and deflect some of the possible problems, but just know that when something happens, you said it was ok. Could the GF take her car to the park and not drive the Vette?

I'd just get rid of the GF and find one without a dog rather than risk damage to the Corvette.
I have 3 Dogs two of them are mini Dachounds and the other is a Blue nose Pit the Mini's ride in the back area on a Blanket or one will sit on the center console. The Bluenose rides in the passenger seat my Dogs are well trianed but they still are hard on the interior but a seat cover saves the seat from my pit. The one thing is I can leave my keys in the car when Nana the pit is in the car as no one is brave enough to reach for the keys or open the door. The funny thing is Nana would lick you to death if you did it's the little female Dachound that will bite you my male will just sit down and go for the ride. The one thing you will need is a lot of towels to lay down so their nails dont tear or scratch the leather.
Looks like you may want to figure out the GF's prioritys before it gets to the marriage.Right now it appears the dog outranks you.I love dogs and the wife and i do rescue work ,but if any get a ride in the Vette it will be the smaller lap dog and it will remain on the wife's lap the entire time.

Need pics of the GF before we can offer a suggestion!
I/we have two dogs, mine will ride in the vette for a cruise he is 45-50 pds(Boston/rot mix), her Yorkie either goes with her in her car or we take my DD.
You might not have the options i just commute 6 days a week, but take her car and see how the dog reacts in a vehicle first, I take mine because he sits up-rite and never flips out...the Yorkie is a spaz! claws tint, door panels, cant sit the hell still, etc

She'd better be some new level of hot for her dog to get in my car. Either that or rich enough that she'd buy me another one when I point out the new scratches and tears.
Trade her in on a newer model that doesn't have the dog option.
I have a cat that's goin on 20 years old. Never been in my Vette. That's what they invented pickup trucks for.
My poodle cruise with me in the car all the time, she is small and sits on my lap, or in the back of the car laying down on long cruises.
Never have problem.
