be careful when you use the K&N oil filter cause that tighten/losen nut on the bottom becomes a low point and could risk hitting something with the K&N compared to other brands

I've been using the Amsoil EA15K32 for a couple years now, but just realized the WIX 51042 is just as good, and a couple of dollars less. I might just move to that one on my next oil change....

I use Wix or Napa Gold, I would never use a K&N filter for the simple reason it has a bolt head on it to remove it and if you look at it under the car it hangs down really low asking for trouble.
KN here. My car is slammed and the nut on the filter has never had a single mark on it from touching anything. Plus that nut is really helpful for easy install and removal.

This is a fitting that's easy to find if you decide to go to a filter that has no "nut" on the bottom.
