Default Underhood LED?

Does anyone sell an underhood LED light unit or replacement bulb?

Couple of forum vendors sell a plug & play replacement bulb that is LED.
Try JW motoring or corvettemods. They both probably carry them. I got mine from one of them just can't remember which one.

Don't do it. You will be sorry.
I went that route and you have to modify the socket for it to fit the bulb. It will not shut off when you have the hood open like the orginal bulb does. I installed a on-off switch and sometimes it would light and other times it would not.
The bulbs are 15.00 +.
Save your money.
I switched back and now it works okay again.

I think that this is just what I was looking for...does it turn off after 6-9minutes like the stock bulb (don't know why it wouldn't...)

Operates just like the stock bulb will. Just cooler and uses much less juice!

My 28 SMD (aka LED) lights up the engine bay like crazy. It functions perfectly when opening and closing the hood.
