Anyone know who might still have some of the Touring models in stock? Preferrably with the Tiger Shark tips.
I know they have been discontinued for awhile now but, I was just hoping to find some left over.
I though I'd found some on ebay but, I think I was a victim of the classic bait and switch as they advertised 10 in stock but didn't have them and are trying to switch me to the Pace or Sport system.
I have GHL Bullets on now and they were OK 'till I installed LT headers. Now, they are a bit too loud for my taste and the drone inside is unbearable so, I though I'd try the Corsa's and, I've heard, with the headers, the Touring system gives a pretty good sound.
IMHO you'll be disappointed with the touring (if you're even able to find a set). I have the pace car on mine and when I was looking for exhausts I heard the touring and was NOT impressed AT ALL, especially considering the price.

Surprised about the droning issue with the Bullets. Did they drone before the lt headers?

They had a little bit of drone before the headers at around 1500-2000but, it wasn't a problem. After the headers, x-pipe, and high flow cats it was like a different system though!
No. But I've also NEVER heard anybody complain about the corsa pace car with headers sounding bad or being too loud.
Well, knowing me, I would probably be the first!
Just thought I would try to err on the side of too quiet instead of too loud. Everyone has a different opinion on volume level...believe me, I'm an Audio Tech and do live sound...I've heard some opinions!
Thought about sticking my stock system back on there and see how much louder the headers make it. That's just a lot of work and I would have to take it to the muffler shop as I can't get it high enough to do at home though.
For what it's worth, I'd throw a set of used Ti's on long before I'd ever consider spending the money on the touring exhaust.
I think the reason the pace car is so popular (besides sounding great) is that they're only loud when you want them to be (and even then, they're pretty mild compared to the louder setups I've heard).

I have the corsa indy exhaust with long tubes..while its a bit more louder while cruising down the hwy it does not drone at all..and sounds just amazing when I get on it
A buddy of mine has the corsa pace car, as do I. Once he put headers on, those pace car's were wicked loud - much louder than I'd want. I believe the touring and headers would make a great combo.
It does come down to headers & x-Pipe. I have heard Corsa Extremes on stock manifolds and they were really not bad at all when cruising. Add in headers and you need to like loudness much more.
That's what I experienced first hand when I installed the LT's after I had the GHL's on there for awhile. Makes a BIG difference in sound tone and level!
