92 is what we have and Chevron is what I prefer for the Techron additive in it. Ya fuel is fuel but it's the cleaning additive that makes a few better than the cheapo stations. I never use Arco, Costco, Safeway, Fred Meyer, or the rest of the cheap fuel stations. By the way the octane boosters sold in parts stores do pretty much nothing since you're not boosting the octane from 92 to 95 when they advertize "boosts 3 points". You're only getting 92.3 if that.
shoot, i even tuned my truck on 93. why would i run my car (with higher compression & more factory timing) on anything less? especially when it says "premium" right on the gas cap.
