There is a whole new generation of synthetic waxes available now and they are excellent. But to apply a wax by hand is (in my humble opinion) a waste of time. I have never really had outstanding results waxing by hand. Get a good quality random (6"+) orbital polisher and apply any product you like and buff with outstanding results in a fraction of the time. Then you only have to wax once a year too! Greetings, Rob
I use only Meguiars products and use a clay bar with spray detailer following a Dawn detergent wash and couple of times a year . . . the NXT is the last step with a final polish enhancer using the orbital polisher.
Yes- you can get carried away doing this - - guilty.
calvins and other posters,
Thanks for the info, I was just about to post a new thread asking what the latest wax trend was. I'm going to give the NXT a try.
Thanks again.
I use a wax called p-21-s twice a year , lasts 6 months , but not cheap 35-40.00 dollars , and as with all wax's polishs it depends on the condtion of the paint .
For the price it is a superb wax. But there are much better products on the market. And easier to use.

For Waxing? I believe you mean Polishing. Or maybe you were talking about an AIO?
Wax, Synthetic or not does not remove/correct paint. There is no need to apply it with a random orbital polisher. It will only insert wax into areas you don't want it.
Application by hand is the best way to apply "Wax" And apply it in one/same direction for the best results.
But to achieve the best results you must level the clear coat, but that's a whole other story.
I have used the NXT wax for a year or two and really like it. I bought a couple of bottles.
It produces a good shine and brings out the color. It also makes it so that the bugs simply wash off easily without much effort.
It also is one of the easiest I have used. It goes on easy and you do the whole car before wiping it off and it seems like the longer it cures, the easier it is to wipe off.
I have been a detailer for 50 years... Ive used a lot of products over the years... while I haven't used all of the New space age polymers, I have found something that works for me... My car, next to a brand new Corvette Makes the New Corvette look like a bad paint job... My car is 13 years old and looks extremely better than it did the day I bought it. The car looks " Wet " all the time. People ask me all the time what I use on it.. I tell them all the same thing.. Zaino... Ive been using it for 13 years... Ive turned many people on to Zaino and all his product.. the only leather cleaner and protectant that actually smell like real leather.. the gloss enhancer is better than any detailer Ive tried.. the tire shine and polish are better than any product Ive found.
yeah, I used zaino in the past and while it is very good... plan on spending the majority of a day doing it unless it's changed a lot. I may end up there but it was just so much of a PITA for a DD.

Yeah, from what I recall from using it years ago, it was a multi-step process and took a lot of time to get good results. It's good stuff though.
To the OP, the NXT is also good stuff, as others have mentioned, and you can't go wrong with a Meguiars product.
I've used several of Meguire's waxes over the years. Then tried ReJex and was pleased with the results. Just recently went with Adam's Brilliant Glaze and finished it off with their detail spray. All this without removing the previous product. I now have a very smooth, very shinny finish. All done by hand btw.
For a garage kept car, I don't see the need for wax.

um... a little bit more information would be of help....
I was giving a straight answer to your initial question... "it's a superb Wax for the price"
As for there being better waxes, you need to understand NXT 2.0 is not a pure "wax" it has Fillers/Glazes added to help fill clear coat scratches and swirl marks.
As previously stated, Rejex is a great Synthetic Sealant. Very easy to apply and remove with superb protection.
BlackFire & Menzerna also make great AIO's.
