I'm totally with you Mr. Bill ! I just can't believe I have a Corvette and love the curves and beauty of my C5 every time I see and drive it. Life is great!
Coming threw San Antonio now , and day dreaming with windows down
Life us great ,
Gotta agree with you Mr Bill on the C5 and C2. I want to see the C7 first though before I'm sold on it - some shots I love it, some I'm not so sure (especially from the back).
C5 i think will stand the test of time because of it's styling.
I guess I'm one of the few here when I say the c6 is my least favorite. It just looks so unthreatening and happy. the Z isnt bad with the wide body, but the stock is just disgusting I'll always love my c5, as others have said, its timeless!
First time I saw the C5 my reaction was I can't wait to BUY one!! C6 and C7, sadly, opposite reaction. I'm waiting to see a C7 in person before I buy a Cayman S. Keep the C5 of course!
I have to disagree somewhat. I like the overall lines of the C7, but I really dislike that huge triangular spear that has been stuck onto the lower side of the car; the vents would look better if they were less conspicuous, perhaps body colour and at the rear, I do not like the four symmetrically spaced tail pipes; it would look better with two exiting on each side behind the wheels Ferrari fashion. The tail lights - okay, but not great.
Here is a Photoshop of it in White with tinted windows, "modified rear lights", Exhaust tips in the edge like you said, and no top vents in the rear quarter.

Wow! good work; I'm impressed - I do like the exhaust change; maybe the after-market will step up and do that.
One more quibble: that silver grill bar makes the c7 look like an adolescent who is waiting for his last appointment with the orthodontist.
Absolutely right Mr. Bill.
I'm sold on the C7-cyber gray. Thinking of a way to explain to the wife why I need to keep the C5 torch red vert as well, along with the BMW 5 for the snow.
Any fool proof suggestions would be appreciated LOL.
Regards Mr. Bill.

I would start off by telling her that you read on the Corvette Forum that in the long run the C7 is a lot cheaper than going to a shrink for therapy. It might work.
The first pics of the C-7 where of a red version, then a yellow car. This week I saw a pic of a medium metallic gray C-7. I was absolutely stunned, I need to see one up close, but that was awesome, possibly better looking than the C5.
BTW, my C5 is spiral gray.
