I haven't seen knock off sp500's. but a company does make knock off Classics...I'd beware though...usually get what you pay for. Wait until a used set pops up like I did
There are wheels that are usually called "C5 Deep Dish Reproduction Wheels" that look pretty similar. Most of the venders that sell wheels carry them. They're available in chrome, polished, rivits, black with lip, etc. They're about $200/wheel. Of course the downside is they're much heavier than CCWs.
The owner of CCW and I discussed this subject many years
ago. It costs alot of money chaseing down these counterfiters
and I feel that he has a right to his design. Of course alot of
guys don't care and they will support copy-cats. Most people
have few morels and I say buy what you want just don't brag
to me about your knock-offs. I will tell you what i think even
if you don't want to hear it.

These are really nice looking wheels, not a fan of the rivets, but I've been thinking about switching to a style like this! Great price as well
Anyone know of any wheels that look like ccwsp500. Ccw are 750 per wheel. Need something less expensive.
Keep your OEM wheels on, save your money wisely, then buy strong, light, American-made CCW wheels when you are able to. You are driving a premier American sportscar. It deserves proper wheels.
the big difference between real wheels like CCW are they start out with a solid block of forged billet aluminum. 66 lbs.. the knock offs are made from a casting, about 1/2 the strength of a billet wheel. also the other difference is if you hit a pot hole with a cast wheel it can crack..a cast wheel is much cheaper to produce. You can buy chrome wheel on Ebay or Pep boys for 100 dollars... ( not for corvettes) but cheap chrome wheels look like cheap chrome wheels.. people who have billet wheels look much more impressive, but you have to know the difference. you wont see to many ghetto rides with Billet wheels but you will see plenty of them with chrome wheels. Its a matter of taste and the understanding of the difference between cast wheels, steel wheels, and forged billet aluminum wheels. like everyone says, you get what you pay for. Of course many people could not afford a real wheel, so they get what they can afford and defend it. People with alot of knowledge will spend the extra money for the better wheel knowing that they can get the cheap wheel for half the price.
