Just looking for reviews, and or pics from anyone who has or have seen their products. I am looking at getting zr front bumper and zr carbon fiber raised cowl hood. Chime in at will.
Quick Z06 (Pete) is the forum member that sells the Corvette Creationz items. He is a stand-up guy that sells MANY things to forum members. I have the carbon fiber side skirts and the front diffuser. The quality is amazing. Not the thin lightweight stuff that is out there. Very strong pieces. You absolutely cannot go wrong getting pieces through Pete. I am sure that others will chime in as well.
I've had nothing but top notch service from Pete as well, his products are top notch and are priced right, I'm running several of his items and all of them fit perfect, no issues at all.

looking red C5 you have. I know some don't like the caliper covers, but they look great on yours. I ordered a set rather than paint, as I want to be able to take mine back to stock without any hassle.

No sir, not covers. These are actual C6Z06 brakes front and back.

How much drilling is required for the front splitter and side skirts?

Ill take this one , the way the front splitter of mine is designed you have very little room to work with as far as drilling , I went and bought 1/4 by 1 inch long nuts and bolts and just pre drilled holes around the edge of the splitter then used some sticks to prop it up then pre drilled the bottom of my bumper then installed

It depends on how obsessive you are as there are no pilot holes on the pieces. I used a combination of existing screw holes and some new holes that I had to drill. The sides have 4 each evenly spaced and the front had 5 new holes (one center, two corners and 2 ends).
I will tell you that I tried the minimal hole approach and the front started to show signs of separating (from my fascia) due to the amount of head wind it gets. That got reworked quickly.
I did it by myself no extra hands, but did need to use various items to balance the pieces on while I worked one end.
My Z is torch red as well, some really nice rides I will be doing the zr front bumper and hood with carbon front splitter as well, judging by the pics I think it will look great. Thanks for chiming in guys.
I bought there zr hood and the c5r splitter (a couple times). They are good looking cheap pieces. Having also bought carbon pieces from apsis I can say there is definitly a huge difference in quality between the cheap corvette creations stuff and the pricier stuff from apsis. The first hood I received was very misshaped and I ended up getting a replacement. Pete was very easy to work with in that process and provided good customer service. Both hoods also had areas where the carbon weave was a little off and it wasnt very strong. I had the hood on my car for only a couple months and was always very gentle with it and it cracked where the latches are in just a couple weeks. I read at least one other thread where that happened. Perhaps that wouldnt happen if it was painted but I never got around to painting it. About the splitter. These are very thin and crack easily if you bump into anything. I learned that the hard way twice. I have bumped my apsis one only once and it was fine because it has a much thicker fiberglass bottom. Of course, if you arent dumb and careless like me, then you dont have to worry about that. I ended up switching to the apsis after my 3rd c5r splitter broke on a high speed run I did. The air pressure pushing down on it caused the bolts I had holding it on to pull right through the thin carbon fiber and it hit the ground and shattered. Each c5r splitter I had also had areas where the carbon weave was off and one side was thicker than the other by a good half inch.
Having said all that, if you curb your expectations and realize that you are buying cheap carbon pieces then you wont be disappointed. They really are nice for what they are. Pete is also a pleasure to deal with and will take good care of you. Even though none of the things I have bought from him in the past have worked out for me long term, I would buy from him again and I actually plan on probably getting his flared quarters if I cant get tpe and im also thinking about the new hood hes been working on. I believe ive also read that he uses a new manufacturer now that is better, so all the issues I had may be resolved.
This review isnt meant to bad mouth pete or his products because he is a stand up guy who sells a nice product, but in my experience they arent as high of quality as some of the more expensive stuff out there.

What Dave meant was you're not getting an $1800 hood for $650. There can't be that expectation, but for the price, they are really nice. A lot of guys on the forum have this hood. I think you'll be happy with it.
For the money Pete's carbon fiber hoods are tough to beat. My fitment was not the greatest but as others have already stated, you can't expect $2000 quality out of a $650 piece.
