Default Engine bay V2.0

Well, after doing my cylinder heads, I finally decided I had had enough with the miserably ugly FAST intake. So I sanded it down and then sprayed it with 2 coats of primer and 5 coats of VHT semi-gloss black engine paint. In addition, I painted the GMPP valve covers with VHT crinkle black valve cover paint. I also removed the hoodliner and used dupont semi gloss black to spray the underhood after I masked it off. No offense to anyone, but I absolutely HATE the painted plastic covers on everything in the engine bay and the painted hoodliners. This is my attempt to make the C5 engine bay actually look like theres a small block chevy in there some place

Thanks guys, for the minimal expense, Im quite pleased with the way it turned out. The most expensive part was the cut to fit MSD wires for $120

Thanks guys! The coils on the drivers side are on the frame rail....to access all you have to do is remove the plastic inner wheel well panel and theyre right there. The passenger side coils are mounted in the battery compartment.

Man, that looks great. I was wondering about the coils also.

I have been wanting to remove my hood liner because like the OP, I don't like that matted one. But if you remove it, won't there be a more noisy ride (on top of the pleasant sounds we already enjoy)?
