A properly functioning TPS should read within the first mile or so of driving - but can't hurt to drive a bit further to see if it responds. I know mine has always responded once I got the car up past 20 mph or so. It just might be that you have a faulty sensor.
You could try re-doing the “learn” but this time beep the right front first then the left front. Then if the right front won’t read I would suspect a bad TPMS.

Just put new ones in my car and they started working by the time I got to the end of my block.
So I have driven about 200 miles and my front left sensor still has not woke up.
I called the supplier I purchased the new sensors from and he suggested I go back to the tire shop that installed them and have them use their hand held computer. When I got there this morning, they didnt have the hand held for a 99 C5. But he did have a large magnent. It woke it up but half way home it stopped working.
When I got back to my home town I stopped at Les Schwab and asked if they have the proper meter and they said yes. They did the teach mode and each tire responded but when I left and they started to register - it showed up in the metric form.
All my readings are now metric - if I take it to my Chevy dealer can they reset it back?
