MY 99 not cooling correctly

I have a 1999 C5 with the original compressor. I have inquired on this forum previously about problems I was/have been having. Admittedly there is a 'small' leak somewhere on/in the compressor. But........
I have had the 'coolant' brought up to correct spec's. We have put on the gauges and have rev'd the engine to proper rpm's and all pressures read correctly to spec's. But.....the A/C will be warm on the driver's side and cooler on the passenger side. We have done the reset where you pull the fuse, wait and the vehicle seems to cool for a short while?maybe it's my imagination? But then the A/C goes back (or continues?) to be cool, kinda sorta, on the passenger side and warm on the driver side.
It looks like I am going to have to take the Vette to a A/C place but I am hoping You All can give some points to look for or be aware of when I take it in and not get 'taken' by the tech's.
I look forward to your responses.

If manual, you may be low on freon.
If dual temperature, then you may have to re-index the driver's side actuator. Try this link:
