Do Side vents need to keep deflector???
Do you need to reinstall deflectors inside the fenders after installing mesh side vent grills? Don't like the fact you can see the faded plastic through the mesh. Does it protect rain from getting to the electronic components on the passenger side or they sealed?? Or will it be fine without??
What are these components? Ecu? Are they sealed to avoid damage from direct contact with water?

I've heard of C5ers removing them with no issues. The PCM is on the passengers side. I don't see how they keep any water out though.
I took mine off and painted them black with a clear coat. I added the Racemesh screens to further enhance the area

Yea I have mesh grills in place right now just worried about water damage on the PCM.... Living in the northwest (seattle area) you never want to drive the vette in the rain but sunshine never last up here!!!
