Something to keep in mind alot of cars out there that have supposedly a clear title have been in severe wrecks also. They were just repaired and not sold as salvage. I personally have no problem with a salvage title car if you know what was done to it and price it accordingly. If you are going to modify the car in my opinion a nice salvage title car is ideal.
sure. i've owned salvage titles before. 2 theft recoveries. both had engines that didn't last long. drive it like you stole it is a saying for a reason.
still, both were great cars with no major issues.... other than needing new longblocks which isn't a huge deal
for that low of mileage if the car was repaired right it's a good deal. all c5s are still depreciating. my whole point is if you get in at a good price when you sell it you won't take much of a hit. you could probably run that car to 100k, keep it 5 years and still get 8-9k out of it
Have a maint. check done on the car at a "trusted mechaniic" and think about it for a few days. It should only run you around 200$ for a good inspection.
I wont even touch salvage title cars not even with a 39 1/2 foot pole.
