New member need advice
I am trying to buy my first vette been looking an know I only want a z06 so I have looked at a couple found one today. A 2001 z06 convert in awesome shape, california car originally,clean carfax.here is my issue it has 100,000 miles asking price 15,000 sure I can work out a little better I have cash in hand.My ? Would you buy and what should I be looking for beside the usual stuff thanks for any help also this is just a toy for me not and everyday driver

Ok a 2001 convertible is NOT a Z06.... Z06 cars only came in a fixed roof configuration.... No others were offered. Some guys have done targa top conversions if thats what you may have found???

Check the VIN; The first several characters should be 1G1YY12S; The 6th and 8th digits are for body style - Coupe - and engine type - LS6.
