OK I just wanted to get you guys thoughts of the following tests which intake do you think will do better performance wise and why? By the way this is not to beat the crap out of anyones product its just a simple show down for fun.:D
Stock 02 VS stock 02 15 punch to 100
Stock 02 VS stock 02 75 to 130
Stock 02 with Halltech T-1 vs stock 02 with VARARAM this was a fun test.
Stock 02 with Halltech T-1 1/8 mile VS stock 02 with VARARAM.
Stock 02 with Halltech and stock 02 with VARARAM from 75 punch in 3rd to 130 mph.
Well? post the results, and what difference does the color make, do you think one color is faster than the other, my black 02 is faster when it's clean and shiny, I know this because I can FEEL it :), and if I can feel it, it must be true.
From: Muncie, Indiana ...... Can I buy an amplifier on time ... I ani't got no money now but I'll pay you before I die
Re: Tests Halltech VS VARARAM? (CPT Z06)

We know the silver has to be faster because it's Quick Silver.
CPT Z06 Sorry guy I will take the color thing off if it is bugging you, but now that you mention it my car gains 100 hp when I wash it.. :D I will post the rersult when I am done so I dont have to hear everyone cry about the wind was blowing one day the wrong way, if you know what I mean. Remember this is only a test for fun.
for those of you who cant wait christmas has come early.
" Results :"
Stock silver 02 VS stock EB 02 15 punch to 100 "EB 02 one car ahead"
Stock silver 02 VS stock EB 02 75 to 130 "EB 02 one car ahead"
Stock 02 silver with Halltech T-1 vs stock EB 02 with VARARAM 15 punch to 100. "EB 2.0 cars and pulling"
Stock 02 with Halltech T-1 1/8 mile VS stock 02 with VARARAM. "not yet"
Stock Silver 02 with Halltech and stock EB02 with VARARAM from 75 punch in 3rd to 130 mph.
"2.5 to 3 cars and pullen"
If anyone wants to know if the Vararam works it work better than I thought, by the way yes we relearned the cars and drove them for miles. Remember this is just a test for fun and to let you know that both intakes work but one seems to never stop pulling, that would be the Vararam! I will have 1/8 times and 1/4 times soon when I get some more time to play.
Optic, were the Slvr '02, and the EB '02, pulling the same #'s STOCK on the Dyno????
Just to be fair, we would have to start with EQUAL STOCK rwhp & tq figures...... before intake mods right?.
Otherwise it would make the tests invalid...... ;)
Nope the Silver 02 was making 4 hp more I don't think that would make a huge difference, but remember I have and will track test both cars in the 1/4 mile before and after the intake changes.
I've got a test for anyone with a Z06 Vararam. West Coast Corvettes has a drag race coming up at the end of this month.
I challange any Z06 with the VR intake against my 2000 LS1 Cpe with the TRIC intake onboard. No cam or heads, just my Stinger package on a mild LS1 with stock exhaust and Stinger headers.
Any takers? This should end the BS once and for all.

How would that help tell which intake offers the most power? I want to see the Vararam make more power on my car than the Sidewinder does, I do not think it will, but the dyno and track tests will tell the story.

Jim, We did test the T-1 and VaraRam at NED. The T-1 was 1-2mph slower than VaraRam that day. It would be interesting for you to test VaraRam YOUR SELF. Then you won't doubt it anymore that this system makes the car faster, just test it without any bias. I know you will be shocked and surprised at VaraRams advantage over the T-1. Will you then "design" a new "intake" that's claimed to be better or is better? You claimed the tric was the "best" with it's cooler air and nasa bends till you had the T-1 with warmer air but claimed better? Now it's T-1c that's better? that's the best one you say? I can't keep up with what you say is best, but we compared with out bias and got a no BS result. Most members on the fourms just want an increase in power,I just wanted et and mph with no tuneing hassel on an 02, I got it with VaraRam, but always open to the next improvement when and if it comes. When I tested the TRIC VS the VARARAM, I would have bet my bottom dollar that the TRIC would have made more power on the dyno that is why I can wait to take both the cars back to the dyno. As for racing when you get the car moving it is one hell of a pulling sensation that doesn’t stop. By the way people I am not sponsored by VARARAM, hell I bought my kit and WEST COAST CORVETTES, thanks for the overnight delivery guys.. By the way when I do the next tests on the dyno I will video both cars so we can all see, then I will video another 75 to 130 punch, just so we can all see. By the way I would like everyone to know I am not interested in dyno numbers, just how well the intake works on the street, I cant drag the dyno down the quarter mile:cheers:
 Getting warm in here....Boo hoooo i cant use eather one of them with the blower....Hey everyone geta life they both work a hell of a lot better than stock, the only way to see which is 'best' would be to use both on same car, same driver, and do 6-7 runs then compare....
I feel so bad for you that your So hobled by your super charger;) I think your right no matter how fair or honest I or anyone else tests someone will tell us it has to be done there way to be fair. I am only interested in geting imfo out and let each member make his or her own decisions. I will say with all the problems members are encountering with intake systems on 02's the VaraRam had none of them, well to be totaly up front there is a problem, 12.0 break out in street class at New England Dragway, but the stock brakes are super.
