Jax,

Out of curiosity, could you inform us of the mods you have already made?

I am sure that will help us assist in answering your questions. Mods have to be done in groups to ensure proper air/fuel ratios.

Do you need to match the intake gaskets to the intake like on an L98.
Trimming them properly can help air flow.

Hey man, sure, here's my current build off the top of my head but I may leave out a few details. By the way, I used to live in Cumming at Windermere.

That list looks pretty comprehensive to me. That's actually the end goal for my C5.

Yes, it includes the core items but my initial post was to ask what items tend to be forgotten. Anyway, it appears i am pretty close to done until which time I decide to invest in different gears or Supercharger. I'm considering a S/C but I just like the idea of a N/A car better. A S/C can make any car into a monster. I was a 165 lb college baseball player. I had exactly 0 home runs and only once even hit the ball off the wall. If I had taken some steroids I might have been a power hitter. LOL. Perhaps the parallel is not exact but you get my point. That's my gut feel but I am still considering the S/C because I like the power and I think the engineering is cool too.

have you ever been to the track? that setup should be in the 465+whp range, but dyno numbers are just that. how conservative is the tune

I have not been to the track. I am toying with the idea but I can't afford to damage/break anything. I'm unsure whether I will at some point or not.

Regarding my tune, it is very safe and conservative. My tuner says it is the only way he will do a tune.
