What small power mods, those in the 5hp-30hp range, do you think are commonly left out? Just curious to figure out if I am leaving any stones unturned. I am not going to do a S/C before 2014, if at all, however I may do a few other small mods if I can find a few so that they add up to enough to make it worth the tune.

None of these are usually left out since the small mods tend not to break the bank. If you're going blower, Headers will be a good place to get torque and power as well as efficiency.

My question may not have been clear. I have all typical stuff, H/C, LT, etc. I am asking what items are sometimes forgotten in a typical build?
proper tune up, cleaning your air filter often enough, proper oil, proper tire pressure are all often neglected. I am new to the LS's so I don't know a lot of tricks on these engines.
Yes some oils can increase hp and gas millage.
Royal Purple (to my disbelief) has increase my wife's Toyota 2 miles per gallon.
there are no cheap mods to give you any increase power. If your looking for hp down the road, expecet to spend $10-$20 per horse if you do the mods yourself. If you are depending on a mechanic the cost will be significantly more.
First you need to determine is your goal. Then start with the basics headers, cat back exhaust, CAI and go from there. Don't waste your money and time on by re-doing or re purchasing parts you have already replaced. You will need to to a fair amount of research before you start. Spend some time on the tech side and read, read , read. My goal was 500 hp at the crank. What got me there headers vararam, exhaust, cat back, cam, heads, intake, injectors, theromastate, and numerous other parts all working together with a good tune.
Thanks to all for the replies. Perhaps I have been, yet again, unclear. I already have all of the typical mods. I am at 450rwhp with my NA setup. Just curious what stones I may be leaving unturned without going to a blower.
Define "typical stuff." You mentioned H/C. Does that include a better intake manifold? Bigger throttle body? Upgraded fuel injectors? You needed to include your build details so we can help you out.
