Long Trip Worries
I love you guys who don't put on milage. Save it for the person who really likes driving them, like me!Last edited by o2bnkc; Mar 12, 2013 at 09:40 PM.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Many guys, myself included, have driven Corvettes all over the country. That's where I enjoyed my C4, and now C5 the most. On the open road, driving through the mountains, National Parks, along the Atlantic and Pacific coasts seeing oceans, and on and on.
If you don't take the risk, and go; you'll never know how much enjoyment of your Corvette you are missing out on.
Only one time, did I ever have an issue, away from home. I was in Ft. Collins Colorado playing golf (home in Illinois). I had a universal joint start to squeal and go bad. I pulled into a chevy dealer at just after 5oopm. The service manager, was such a Corvette fan, he said if I'd pay overtime, he'd ask one of his mechanics to stay over; after closing time, to fix it. I said yes. The extra pay; went to the mechanic, not the dealership. The manager and I, and the mechanic (thanks Guys), talked while the guy put new U joint in my car. I was back on the road, before dark.
As another member posted here, there is a Chevy dealership not too far away, where ever you are. But, most likely you'll never need one; with proper maintenance and care of your C5.
These cars are such a hoot to drive....
Go for it!!!
