Is it possible to just replace the vinyl fabric and reseal the window to it on a C5. My 2001 has a white top and it looks kind of crummy now. The pads and rear window are all perfect. The car is going to a guy near Detroit. Anyone over there who does this?
Thanks
JB
I've never seen a replacement top that doesn't come with a rear window, nor would I ever by one after going through the process last year of re-gluing the rear window on my top.
You can get a brand new white sailcloth vinyl top WITH glass for around $500.
Or if you decide to switch colors you can get a Robbins twillfast cloth top for around $600.
Then you will just need to find a good upholstery shop to install it...you can check with Robbins for preferred installers in your area.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll offer to buy the top if the new owner has it installed. Thanks also for the warning about the reseal and all that.
