She's been sitting since October 1st waiting for spring to come. Cannot wait for the ice to finish melting off the roads so I can go out for a drive.
You must be having better weather up there in Alaska because the weather down here is not letting up to even think about getting the car out. I'm just shining it up and getting ready. Maybe by July if were lucky !

We had sporadic snow flurries here, yesterday, and there's still a coating of salt on the roads. I was hoping to do some work on the C-5 over the last couple of days, but the temps have been in the 20s, and the garage isn't heated.
Snowing and blowing temp about 10F with no sign of spring!! The little bit of melting in the last week or two is covered up with new snow plus 10% more. lol Should have bough a snowmobile instead of the Corvette like everyone told me to. Greeting, Rob
yep, flurries and cold as all get out. Roads are still a mess. That white crap they spray on 'em and small pebbles all over the place. z
Need the monsoons of spring and the streetcleaners to be run before I'll even consider taking it out.
As for driving a Vette in AK, we had a member in the CFI forums from Anchorage if I recall correctly and his Vette was his ONLY vehicle. He actually ran mud and snows on it and said that it was actually very good in the snow, just as long as it wasn't too deep.
How many months (or weeks) out of the year do you get to drive the Vette in North Pole, AK?
Hopefully here I'll be able to get mine out in just a couple of weeks when the first car show is held.
Usually the road are clear enough to get it out around the first of April. Parking lots can still be precarious as they are almost never plowed as often at the roads. Most years back to storage the first week of October.
