quite a few guys are running with bare projectors like this, just make sure you seal all openings with silicone (around the edge of the glass at the front, the shroud vents, the back of the shroud, etc.) I used clear silicone so you might not see it as well.

Definitely a good call, was going to wait to get clear corners with LEDs but I never considered just getting an LED bulb and hyperflash harness...

well don't get me wrong, clear/black or amber/black corners are a huge improvement over stock.
you should get those as well as the switchback corner bulbs and hyperflash harness.

Oh it's definitely on my to-do list, spent enough money on projects this winte though so I have to re-coup a bit haha cheers:
