I know this mod has been going around quite a bit lately and I decided to take a stab at it myself, made the shroud, headlight stops, and projector mounting bracket myself and I'm happy with how it turned out.
The LEDs are switchbacks that turn yellow with the turn signal.

That's neat looking. Do you have more detail as far as the bracket for the projectors?
Honestly since I was only doing one projector per side I just bought a plate of 1/8" aluminum and cut the mounting pattern into it. then I used long bolts with nuts to align it, in the future I may make spacers when I get access to a lathe. I'll try and find some pictures when I get home tonight.
high beams are still there, the projector has a solenoid which raises the cutoff shield providing high beam light.
you limit the headlight height by stopping the actuating arm early. The motor uses a current limiting switch and when it senses an obstruction it stops. I just welded in a nut to stop the arm early.
Not a huge fan of the LED's, but looks great otherwise!
Thanks! I know the LED thing has been blown out of proportion nowadays and many people find them tacky but I've always had a thing for them. I didn't want to run them horizontally as that makes them look like the cheap aftermarket stick on stuff so I made the shroud specifically to run them with the curve.
Besides it's cheaper to run a $15 LED strip and give it turn signal functionality than adding another set of $300 projectors and aligning them hahah. The empty space would have bothered me otherwise.
Nice job, i was curious how you set the opening as well, i have looked at it in the past and thought you could fabricate a shorter arm off of the motor but what you did sounds easier, Which projectors did you use ?

I just welded a new stop and grinded each side with a dremel until they opened evenly, I didn't want to fabricate a new mounting point for the shroud so I was limited to opening it as low as possible that would still let me screw in the shroud. I also cleaned it up so it doesn't look that bad hahah.
