I watch the Us version weekly. I think it is funny and good for entertainment purposes. Do I learn about cars? No.. I would rather watch that then "The real housewives of __________ county". Or whatever ******** that they decide to put in tv. The damn kids of an attorney for OJ Simpson are freaking prime time tv. What a waste of life.

The best way to get the Brit, USA and 5th gear episodes is downloading them in HD from www.finalgear.com They get them the day after the initial showing in the homeland, and with no commercials so you get more show.
I've been getting them from this site for years, after I download I stream through HDMI from my Laptop to the big screen. Tip, download the 720p versions, they are smaller and look great even on 1080P 61" sets...they also fit on regular DVD's also.

The BBC version is one of the best shows on TV. The US version is one of the worst. That being said, if Jeremy Clarkson pushes on the rear bumper fascia of another 'Vette and calls them "cheap", one more time, I'm cancelling my subscription!
