i know there are a lot of old plug threads but what is the general consensus between the delco 41-110 irridiums and the NGK TR5IX irridium plug?
need to do plugs in my 2002 z and was curious what the go-to plug is for a stock engine
i also noticed there is a tr55ix which appears to be the larger gapped version of the tr5. seems like a .040 gap would be more detonation resistant than .050
I like the Iridiums. My car is undergoing a new heads/cam/intake/throttle body job soon (hoping for 550hp at the crank) and I'm sticking with the Iridums. They've always done well for me.

There was a TSB years ago that changed the spark plug gap from 0.060" to 0.040"
Get which ever is cheaper. You won't notice a difference.
that's what i'm thinking. the delcos are $1 a plug cheaper and it's oem i suppose. i've always been a big ngk fan but like you say, it probably doesn't matter one iota
quick question on the GM red wires, the $60 ones from gene culley. do those fit the factory heat shields? seems like the wire everyone is using
