Default It's time

I can't wait any more, both Vette's come out of hibernation this weekend.

My C6 Z06 will be easy as its been inside the garage all winter. A minor clean up/wipe down, check all the fluids, check the air pressure in the tires, hook up the battery, perform the prelube procedure and fire her up.

The C5 will be a little more involved as there is a battery replacement needed in addition to the other pre start stuff. I'll get to see how she made out under her little cocoon I put her in for the winter. Hopefully just a wipe down will be the only thing needed. I did a full clean/clay bar/wax before covering so I think I should be good. Unless of course the covers leaked at which point I will be pissed.

Either way it will be sunny and 64 degrees this weekend, I can't wait!!!

I had mine out last weekend, the ride certainly changed my mood from bad to good.

Had mine out today too. I couldn't wait either. It's sunny but dry and in the upper 30s. Just some seat time before Bowling Green later this month.

It's in the low 40's here today but windy so it feels much colder. Plus a car cover becomes a sail in 20 mph wind gusts, not my idea of a fun time.

Mine comes out Saturday too. Supposed to be around 64* here then and there's a car show 15 miles up the road.

I am glad that we don't have to deal with that here.

Fired mine up for the first time yesterday. After 5 months of sleeping, she cranked in less than 2 seconds. After about an hour ride, I dropped her off at the shop to get some engine work done (H/C/I/TB/etc.). Hope to have her on the road again by the end of the month!

I don't think I could uncover mine and take it for a short ride only to be without it again for a month. I've been waiting since October and can't wait any longer.
