Black wheels look excellent in my opinion on a stark colored vehicle, black, white, red etc.. Not so much on secondary colors, gloss black over matte on white in my opinion, my white frc is getting gloss black zr1 19's and 20's... Just my $.02

If anything try this first! There are tons of threads detailing the process and how to apply it. But I agree with some that the black might hide all the detail of the Zr-1 wheels..... 
If you don't like it, you can always peel it off.
