I'm not a fan of all black wheels and think your wheels look good just as they are, but if black is what you want, hopefully someone with Photoshop will show you what they will look like.

Nice looking coupe you've got.

Thanks to both of you guys for the compliments.
I just feel like the black might give it a meaner look and then do blackouts in the back maybe

Those wheels are too nice to be black; they need to be seen. If you paint them black they could be almost anything and it wouldn't matter.

I think a gun metal/dark gray looks better than black on a white car. JMHO

They look great as they are. Too much black, i.e. wheels, lights, windows, can cross the line from "mean" to cheesy, IMO.

Black has been over done on a lot of trucks and cars. There is a product called plasti-dip (not sure of the spelling) but its a black rubber in a can that u spray on. It can be removed very easy. You could try it and see what ur wheels would look like black. Post pic's if you do.

I think black rims look good on white but I don't think I would like those rims in black. I personally think if you are gonna have black rims they need to have a deep chrome lip which those won't have if you have them painted black. I think your rims look good as is. I think the wide body C6's look good in white with all black rims but something about the lines of the C5 just look out of place with an all black rim. It just seems to need that chrome lip too.

Some good examples here:

If anything try this first! There are tons of threads detailing the process and how to apply it. But I agree with some that the black might hide all the detail of the Zr-1 wheels.....

Did you get the black or the gunmetal. I had a hell of a time finding gunmetal, finally ordered it from Home Depot and had it delivered to my door.

They do make a gray but the gunmetal is a real dark gray. I'll pm you a pic of the color. I wish I could find the white Vette here on the forum that has the gunmetal rims. Pretty sharp! As others have said, I don't know that your wheels are a good candidate to be dark.......but with plasti dip you can see for yourself and peel if you don't like it.

This is true for sure....everyone on this forum blacks everything...side markers, tails, corners...ends up looking cheesy as hell.

Black the wheels, lower the car...be done.

If I were you, I'd maybe look to a gunmetal metallic or do black. Honestly, I think the design of the wheel hurts the car more than the color. I just don't think they're a great look. So...for me...making them harder to see can only help the car!
