Default 2001 z06 low voltage???

I recently got my first corvette. A 2001 Z06. Have had it about 3 weeks and just yesterday, when I shut the car off, left it for about three hours, when I got back in to start it, I turned the key over and the gauge lights flashed and it said low voltage and no gauges would work. Well I turned the key off and back on and everything was fine. Now every time I try it, the first couple times turning the key over, lights flash and says low voltage-check system charge, then you turn key over again, all gauges light up and the car starts fine, but still says low voltage, I checked battery and its good and the volt gauge on the inside when it does start reads 14.1 volts. So has anyone had this issue or anything like it? Any feed back will be appreciated, thank alot

Have you checked to make sure the cables are tight? I'd also put a volt meter on the battery to check the voltage.

Ok, checked everything with a volt meter and the battery seems to be a little low.... So I guess I'll try a new battery tomorrow?

Fix it before relays start to melt.......Weak batteries are not well tolerated in these cars!

get a battery tender for your new battery. if you go a few days - week without driving you can kill/drain the battery. also would be worth checking to make sure you don't have a strong current drain.

Can I go ahead and do a column lock bypass before it hits me? Just to be on the safe side?

Thank you tacman, and thanks to bill. I pulled out ignition and followed all the steps and cleaned everything and haven't had a issue yet. I think that was the culprit. Installing the LMC5 tomorrow. Thanks guys
