Good buy! I would have been all over that for $500 too!

Nope, this is the first mod. I plan on adding a filter charger kit at the same time, but not sure which brand yet.

I wonder if I can expect any increase in HP with the exhaust?

With the filter and exhaust, should I need a re-tune?

Very little and not really a tune required unless you have money to burn on it to possibly gain negligible mpg and hp.

I can not stand interacting with people like that. Anyways....got them for $500, he had the receipt showing where they were less than a year old and physically, they're impeccable.

I'll get a video up as soon as I get them installed.

You got a nice deal. I paid $500 plus shipping on the set of twin tip magnum bullets that I just bought. They were said to have only 300 miles on them but they certainly did not look any better than yours!

Congrats. I will post my sound check here as soon as I get it. I tried to do it today but the rains came right after lunch today in North Florida.

I've been very disappointed with mine. If you have an automatic, they have a terrible drone at around 20 mph. Wish I'd gotten Corsa now.

Sorry to hear that with the A4 but they are amazing on the M6. Little to no drone!

Sorry if our personalities clashed but, I usually respond as the situation presents itself. I'm pretty sure I started things off by complimenting your wrapped SUV and an admiration of your talent in doing that.

Granted I'm not "Mr. Sunshine" but, I did knock $50 off the asking price right off the bat since you were local and I didn't have to deal with shipping them.

Anyway, I hope they satisfy you by giving your car a good sound.

Sonny

Cat backs never give much if any HP gains. Mostly they just give you a cooler sounding car.

I would not bother with a Re-tune unless you add long tube headers.

Your air-fuel mixture is "RICH" from the factory. Adding a air intake, and cat back will lean things out a little bit. Not enough to warrant a re-tune for sure.

Once you add long tube headers your air-fuel mixture usually goes too "LEAN". You don't want a lean condition. You should get a re-tune then.

No need to apologize, unless you were rude on purpose. You just generally seemed pissed at the world, both on the phone with me and to my wife. And also, not wanting to give me your phone number thru email, which initially led me to believe the whole thing was Spam. Usually CL ads without contact info are. Add in the fact that you requested my number and refused to give me yours, you could consider yourself lucky that you made a sale.

You made me feel like I was bothering you. Maybe you just don't have a good attitude, and maybe we both took you wrong. And you didn't offer to knock anything off. I made the offer, you accepted it.

Regardless, no harm, no foul. I got what I wanted, you got what you wanted. Have a great day!

brief soundclip. Pardon the degreaser flying off the tips as I had just previously cleaned off some burnt fuel. Also, my amateur video needs a little better tripod setup. An iphone setting on its side on top of a cooler wasn't quite stable enough and the exhaust blew it away lol

Here's the sound lip as promised. I love them, and the shop that installed them is top notch. Knoxville Performance in Knoxville, TN.
